Today I went to my first hot yoga class in a long time (and at 9AM on a Saturday too!) I had two main takeaways from the class: 1) I have the most tension in my hips and shoulders 2) My flexibility has worsened 3) “soften your edges”
I’ll elaborate on 3). I’ve always prided myself as being strong and this year I want to find softness in my strengths. I think real strength comes from being kind even when the world isn’t so kind to you and having hope when life looks dismal. With some practice, let’s see if I can sand down those edges and become more “well-rounded” ⭕️ (GET IT, hahaha)
